On Friday, 20th June, our much-loved Neil Marsh organised another fantastic fishing trip for our clients, and it did not disappoint.
The group headed back to Lake Rue in Sedgley, a favourite spot for many of us. As always, both clients and staff had a brilliant time enjoying the peaceful setting, friendly competition, and great company.
Of course, no fishing trip is complete without a little competition! This year, the prize for Biggest Fish Caught went to Ashley from Fellows Road – a returning champion who continues to impress us all. The award for Most Fish Caught went to Amanda, the daughter of one of the lake hosts. It was her very first time fishing, and she caught an incredible 35 fish throughout the day – what a brilliant effort!
A huge thank you goes to Neil Marsh for once again going above and beyond to organise this much-loved annual event. We’d also like to thank our friends at the lake – Eddie, Dave, Martin, Dave (yes, another Dave!), Rue, Joe, Ted, Mick and Alison – for helping make the day such a success. Your support and kindness are never unnoticed.
Congratulations to the winners, and thank you to everyone involved. We’re already counting down the days to next year’s trip!
(Lake Rue is a private late, please do not attempt to visit unless it is pre-arranged with the owner).
