About this service
Helenny Close is a converted school which has 11 self-contained flats with a large communal area.
There is a diverse mix of service users who live here, who enjoy a fulfilled lifestyle and have many hobbies and interests which include college courses, work placements, sensory, amateur dramatics and other local amenities. They have a great sense of community living whilst still enjoying an independent lifestyle.
All of the flats are ground floor level and consist of a double bedroom, bathroom and large living/kitchen area, the flats have patio doors leading onto a large terrace area. All apartments are personalised to the individual’s personal preferences.
Who can live here?
This service can accommodate adults with learning, physical and complex care needs. Following a detailed assessment support will be provided on an individual need basis, this can range from individuals requiring 2:1 support right through to shared support.

Our staff teams are fully trained throughout their employment to allow for continued growth and self development.
We invest in all of our support teams across all levels, this is vital to achieve and exceed the level of support that our clients require day in and day out.
We have a fully accredited in-house Training Department that has been delivering high quality and interactive training since the start of 2011. We are able to deliver all Mandatory training, as well as all care-related training courses to ensure our staff are experienced and knowledgeable in all fields within our industry.
