About this Service

Throne Road offers support to adults with learning, physical and complex care needs and the opportunity to access a variety of activities within the centre and local community.

The people who attend the day service can help to plan their week with activities of their choosing, the service offers support to those accessing college courses, voluntary work placements and vocational studies.

The service is open from 7:30 am to 4 pm.

Some of the day service features include:

  • Multi-function rooms

We also access a wide range of activities and groups in the local community including:

  • Voluntary work in charity shops
  • Swimming
  • Outdoor pursuits
  • Understanding money
  • Access sensory centres
  • Develop skills in cooking and meal preparations
  • Attend discos
  • Travel training
  • Days out to numerous leisure attractions
  • Network with our other services

Who can attend our day opportunities?

This service can accommodate adults with learning, physical and complex care needs. Following a detailed assessment support will be provided on an individual need basis, this can range from individuals requiring 2:1 support right through to shared support.

Our support teams

Our staff teams are fully trained throughout their employment to allow for continued growth and self-development.

We invest in all of our support teams across all levels, this is vital to achieve and exceed the level of support that our clients require day in and day out.

We have a fully accredited in-house Training Department that has been delivering high-quality and interactive training since the start of 2011. We can deliver all Mandatory training, as well as all care-related training courses to ensure our staff are experienced and knowledgeable in all fields within our industry.
