We recently joined forces with Healthy Sandwell to offer a Covid-19 vaccination clinic for the day on the 28th of January. The pop-up service aimed to help encourage as many people as possible to get their vaccinations.
On the day, there was the option for people to either receive their first, second or booster dose. It was a way to maximise the number of people that could attend and reduce the spread of the virus to protect the community. All Select Lifestyles staff, clients, surrounding community were welcome to pop by any time during the day to get their shot.
Thanks to our Health, Safety and Facilities Manager, Alex Ford, the event was a success! We had a total of 16 people come throughout the day for their various shots. To top it up, we had a special visit from Shaun Bailey MP for West Bromwich! He came to see how the clinic was running and say a quick hello to our head office staff.
We would like to say a big thank you to everyone from the Healthy Sandwell team that supported us throughout the planning stage, setting up in the morning, and the lovely vaccinators – the day ran smoothly because of them!
